Larix Screencaster offers a comprehensive solution for live streaming your device's screen content with a range of advanced features:

 <li>Zixi protocol support for advanced live streaming techniques</li>
 <li>Live H.264/AAC encoding</li>
 <li>HEVC/H.265 encoding for various streaming protocols</li>
 <li>RIST protocol streaming in Push mode with RIST Main Profile support</li>
 <li>Grove support for simple links distribution</li>

For streaming sessions longer than 5 minutes, a subscription to Screencaster Premium is required.

The platform offers two modes of adaptive bitrate streaming (ABR): logarithmic descend and ladder ascend. Additionally, the Variable FPS option can be utilized to adjust bitrate by modifying FPS, enhancing performance on suitable hardware.

Larix Screencaster supports streaming to various media servers like Nimble Streamer, Wowza Streaming Engine™, Red5, and Flussonic, among others. It also facilitates streaming to popular services like Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Twitch, and offers support for multiple connections for simultaneous streaming.

Users can also use Limelight, Akamai/Dacast CDNs for stream delivery, and benefit from support for Periscope Producer.
